The New York Times then (6 March 2005)...

"To block the nominees, the Democrats' weapon of choice has been the filibuster, a time-honored Senate procedure that prevents a bare majority of senators from running roughshod. Republican leaders now claim that judicial nominees are entitled to an up-or-down vote. This is rank hypocrisy."

The New York Times today...

"Now that President Obama is preparing to fill vacancies on federal benches, Republican senators have fired off an intemperate letter threatening — you got it — filibusters if Mr. Obama’s nominees are not to their liking. Mr. Obama should not let the Republicans’ saber-rattling interfere with how he chooses judges."

Can this get any more entertaining? No...wait...I take that back. I don't want to tempt fate in such a brazen fashion.

I meant to put this up the other day...oh well, better late than never.

Now imagine, if you will, if that had been a group of white kids dressed in fatigues, chanting support for McCain. That wouldnt' be called rascist at all.

I find it highly, highly entertaining and somewhat disturbing at the same time, this idea that Barack Obama is Jesus Christ in disguise. It's been chronicled several times on this site and on others around the country how Obama-maniacs love comparing the Democratic presidential candidate to the son of God. Today we have more fuel for the fire:
